The Product: Infant Stroller
The best advice that I can give you as a new parent is NOT to buy a “travel
system”. I can’t tell you how many new parents for whom a travel
system is their biggest regret. The reason why I don’t like travel
systems is simple. Your child will use a stroller from the time they are
born until about age four, but they will only be in their infant seat until
about six months old. You are much better off purchasing a lightweight infant
seat carrier and then choosing a lighter
umbrella stroller to use when your baby is done with their infant seat.
Recommendation: Baby Trend Snap N Go Stroller Review
The Baby Trend Snap N Go Stroller is an inexpensive and practical solution for your infant
seat carrier until you a ready to move to a traditional stroller. Although
you will only use if for six months, the Snap & Go is relatively inexpensive and performs
its dedicated task very well. The wheels are large and durable and the bottom
has an oversized basket. It also folds easily with only one hand. Most new
parents who didn’t purchase one of these initially, usually end up
with one after seeing how much their friends like it.
Devil's Advocate:
You might be better off trying to borrow this item from a friend. It’s
a good item to borrow because you can’t really do much damage to
it. The Kolkraft
Infant Car Seat Carrier will work just as well.
