The Product: Stroller / Carseat Cover
A stroller/car seat cover will help keep your baby warm during the winter
and fall months, offering you the flexibility of not having to dress them
in a heavy outer layer.
Recommendation: JJ Cole Bundle
Me Original or Bundle Me Urban
A Bundle Me is a clever invention that goes over your infant seat or stroller,
giving you a built in blanket. It is not intended to be used with a convertible
carseat. There are a series of velcro slots in the back portion of
the Bundle Me that should accommodate most car seat and stroller straps.
The Original Bundle Me is made out of a soft fleece material and is extremely
warm, making it a great choice for your stroller. Although the Original
was also recently approved for car seat use, the extra padding behind
the infant’s back makes it more difficult to use for that purpose.
If you will primarily use your Bundle Me for the infant seat, consider
the “Urban” model which was designed more for infant seat
use and has been tested to meet FMVSS
213.
The Bundle Me Urban has a thinner back portion made out of a silky fleece
material and a fancier stitched looking front, although it’s not
as warm as the Original. If you need one product to go back and for between
infant seat and stroller (which is a pain) or if you prefer the upscale
look, I would suggest the Urban. If you are just looking for a cover for
your stroller, the Original is your best bet. There is also a Bundle
Me Lite, for use in the spring/fall.
In total, accounting for all of the seasons and sizes, we own four Bundle
Me’s and have been very happy with them.
Devil's Advocate:
The Bundle Me really works best with an umbrella or jogging type stroller.
If you have a large standard stroller, you may find that it does not fit
very well and you are better off going with an accessory designed specifically
for your stroller.
