I have always been a gadget junkie, religiously reading Consumer Reports and trying out new products regularly. However, when I first became a parent, it opened up a whole new world of products for me. Most guys wouldn't really hold baby gear up there with GPS, HDTV, etc however there is a wide range of baby gear products to choose based on your needs and lifestyle and many of these can help make a difficult task (raising kids) much easier for you. Having the right baby accessories does make a difference and my wife and I found that we got the best advice talking to other parents who recently had their first child about what they liked and what they regretted.
